Hang on, something new is popping up!
I trimmed some branchlets this morning and when I walked back into my house and looked out the bay window I saw a dog. Well, not really a dog...a branch sticking out of the side of the tree. But it will become a dog, a walking dog , concrete with a spiral tail mad e out of copper tubing. This is what happens to peeps who want a dog but can't have a REAL one just yet.

9. Tank Girl
POW! BAM! YIPPEE! Tank Girl saves the world from the Power & Light Company villians. And how does she do it? She is very clever, very wicked and knows how to dance! She even does a can-can sing-a-long..."Birds do it....Bees do it..." in a wonderful space brothel scene. I like the dog/donkey men...some come in nerd, others in intellectual Beat sensibility. A very stylish film of the Modern Primitive genre, sorta a "Batman" for girls.

260 Haitians risked life and limb to escape extreme poverty and take a wish on America. They crossed a vast ocean to get to our shores. And we are going to make them return.
Can I make a trade for 260 Rio Grande crossers who aren't escaping anything?
Blame it on NAFTA when the corporations moved many factories just over the border to get cheap labor/higher profits. Guess we don't want to establish any factories in Port-au-prince.

10. There's Something About Mary
This one is a recent introduction into my top ten. The sperm hair cream is brilliant and I don't seem to tire of it even though it flashes over and over in commercials. I like the earth-shakingly handsome Matt Dillion as a sleezebag. Nice skit bits scattered throughout the movie...the dog-fight scene is hilarious. And everyone likes it when the goofy guy gets the girl.
