If you have an answer, please clue me in...
Hmmmmmm….
Oprah's Dr. Phil is doing a big weight loss project where he has the answers for all of these overweight folks. But isn't Phil big or is that just my teevee?
Speaking of Oprah, on a recent show she showed women over 40 that look really preserved for their age and she asked their secrets. Wouldn't it have been refreshing if one of them had been honest and said "In January I had a face lift and a tummy tuck." Instead of the usual "I run. I do Pilates. I diet." And all of the other crap? Plus when are we going to admit that genes are probably about 90% of the aging equation?
What is Madonna wearing on her stomach in that GAP commercial? Pantyhose pulled up really high? A girdle?
Forbes just released it's annual "400 Most Wealthy American" list. It's nice to know that there are so many billionaires and that the richest people have become 10% richer. When will a magazine run an annual 400 Poorest Americans? Or would that be the 4, 000 or perhaps 40,000 least wealthy and by what percentage did their money dwindle? 10%…25%…MORE?
Too bad about California. It's a great state with the BEST beaches America has to offer. Couple that with the mountains and valleys and all of the sunshine and wowOwow. Yet California is home to 95 of the 400 bizillionaires mentioned above. It is home to bizillionaire movie studios, millionaire movie stars, Silicon Valley and still it has no architecture compared to Chicago, New York, Boston, and even that chad-crazy place called Miami. The educational system is a mess. The political structure is a joke. The power grid is problematic. So sad California. All of that wealth and everyone just cares about ME. Money never translates into the Arcadian life you think it will.
